John Hembrow

A co-founder and the Managing Director of the Rayjon Group, John Hembrow holds a degree in Civil Engineering and is registered with the Board of Professional Engineers. He also holds an unrestricted builders licence (Qld). After graduating from QUT in 1973, John joined consulting engineers Cameron McNamara and Partners on the Gold Coast.

In 1976 he opened his own consulting engineering practice, specialising in sub-divisional design and construction supervision. At the same time, he formed the Rayjon partnership with Ray Mulholland.

Ten years later, John closed his practice in order to focus his entire attention on the Rayjon Group. In 2000, he purchased Ray Mulholland’s equity and is now sole director.
